David Benjamin Money, P.E., is a highly experienced civil engineer with more than 30 years of expertise in forensic engineering, transportation engineering, and complex project management. Known for his analytical approach and attention to detail, he specializes in delivering clear, defensible findings in high-stakes insurance and litigation matters.

Mr. Money is the founder of Value Engineering & Inspection, LLC, established in 2020, where he serves as President and Senior Forensic Engineer. He has conducted over 500 professional engineering investigations throughout the State of Florida, providing expert analysis in cases involving:

• Structural foundation settlement

• Wind, hurricane, tornado, and hail damage

• Water intrusion and plumbing discharge (cause and origin)

• Post-fire structural evaluation

• Slip-and-fall incidents, including friction, lighting, and grade analysis of walking surfaces

His work regularly supports attorneys and claims professionals through detailed reporting, expert consultation, and deposition testimony.

Prior to founding VE&I, Mr. Money served as Capital Projects Manager for the City of Tampa and held engineering project management roles at firms across Florida, where he oversaw complex infrastructure and development projects.
